The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is one of the most exciting events in the mobile world. Bringing together thousands of movers and shakers in the mobile phone industry, this is where the very latest in mobile technology is at. With exhibitors at the show unveiling their most recent phone technologies, here’s a sneak preview of some of the new gadgets you can expect.
A Smart Toothbrush
If you find brushing your teeth boring and you’re never sure when to stop, then you could always try the new Oral B smart toothbrush! Connected to your phone via Bluetooth (no pun intended) you’ll be told when your teeth are
properly clean, and when to move on. For a pearly white smile!
Dual Sided Phone
It’s possible that the makers of this found their inspiration through Blue Peter’s obsession with double sided sticky tape. But the genius of the Yota Phone is that the double sided design helps you switch between a LCD screen and e-ink screen, specifically for reading. An interesting device, probably well suited to students.
The Smart Watch
According to the MWC, this is THE year that the smart watch goes mainstream. Clearly, there are considerable advantages, being more difficult to lose, and so saving on mobile insurance costs and claims! Samsung have launched three new smartwatches, the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit, each with a built in heart-rate monitor, while Sony and Huawei have launched some rather cool versions too.
