How long have you had it: I bought this tablet about 8 months ago.
Battery life: I use the Battery Stamina mode a lot, which helps to stop the battery running down. This turns off functions when you are not using them, but even without this feature I think the battery life would be better than average for general use.
Camera: The camera has a high spec, but is very difficult to use with any confidence in natural daylight. The screen reflects badly, and you just can’t see whether your shot is lined up correctly. This can be very frustrating at times.
Design: The design is great – this tablet looks and feels expensive, and Sony has thought about the practicalities too, as the rubber backing is less slippery than metal. Before buying this tablet I compared it with the iPad Air in terms of size and weight, and the Sony model was even lighter than the iPad.
Usability: The Sony Xperia Z2 is very responsive, with very little lag. It starts up and shuts down quickly, and there’s nothing difficult about using it – apps are simple to download, open and shut down, and navigation is very straightforward.
Do you regret getting it: No, I wouldn't want to change it really. It would be difficult to find another tablet so light in weight, but robust at the same time. I have no plans to change it for a long time.
What’s the worst point: The screen is difficult to view in natural sunlight. It’s almost impossible to see what is on the screen when the sun is shining, which is a real negative.
What’s the best point: I love the look of the Sony Xperia Z2. It looks and feels classy and expensive, and the rubber backing and corners make it easy to hold.
