How long have you had it: I've had my LG tablet for about 3 months.
Battery life: The battery life is quite good – it lasts for around 7 hours for general surfing, which is probably about average for a tablet battery. This is when using 3G though, battery life might be a bit less with 4G.
Camera: The camera is pretty basic on the LG G Pad. Images aren't always good quality, and the camera lacks the sophistication of some other tablets. Also, there’s no flash, which limits the quality of photos in anything but good lighting conditions.
Design: I love the brushed aluminium back – it’s easy to hold and also looks sleek. All buttons are on-screen which some people won’t like, but I like that because it makes it quicker to operate in my view. It’s very slim, and I love the fact that the speakers are at the back of the device - this makes the sound quality so good.
Usability: Using more than one app at the same time is easy on this tablet. I can access up to three apps simultaneously, which makes it easy to multi-task, or just use social media channels without having to keep closing and reopening the apps.
Do you regret getting it: No, I love this tablet! It’s great for work or play, and I wouldn't want to be without it.
What’s the worst point: There seem to be a lot of pre-loaded apps that I don’t need, which make the app tray look a little cluttered.
What’s the best point: I think the best point about the LG G Pad 8.3 is its design. It looks like a premium tablet, and the colour makes it stand out from the crowd. I feel like I've got value for money with this one.
